Even as we pass this historical moment together, there are individual battles to fight — for students and academics, it is transferring classes to the digital world. Here are a few simple things we can all do to make our online learning journeys easier:
Take notes during online classes:
Learning from the comfort of your home has its advantages. But it’s also equally easy to slip into a lazy lull because of the distance involved. One way to overcome this is to continuously take notes of whatever you’re studying. Analog or digital, that’s your choice! Either way, there are a lot of wonderful ways to make the note-taking process more active. Try applications such as Evernote and Google Docs to take digital notes as you are listening to your professor. Maybe, try to make flowcharts and diagrams to simplify complex concepts.
